Hello everyone, my name is Brooklyn. As you can see, I am a beautiful Terrier/ Pit Bull mix about 3 years of age.But I haven’t always looked like this. You see, I came to Paws Place the first week of December 2017, abandoned, starved and neglected.I was so weak I could barely stand and was a mere 24 lbs.The folks here at Paws Place took me in, showered me with love, provided me with the care I needed to get me healthy and looking like the shining star I am again. Because of my past, some things are still new to me and I’m still trying to figure things out, but I now know what love feels like and that there are better days to come. Running and playing outside makes me so happy and I am full of love again! I think it would be best if I were your one and only four-legged fur child, this way I could shower you with all my kisses and affection. If you think you could be that family for me, please stop by and see my beautiful smiling face!
We appreciate your support and confidence in our organization. Please continue to follow us on Facebook and our website for updates on our kennel and upcoming events.
At any one time, we have over 30 dogs and puppies at the shelter and in foster homes. The average cost for treating an animal we take in is about $300! Adoption fees don't even begin to cover these costs. On average, Paws Place places more than 144 dogs for adoption every year!
Paws Place is able to do the work we do only because of volunteers and contributions from animal lovers like you. Costs to maintain the animals at Paws Place are several thousand dollars per month. Only your contributions allow us to continue our mission. We can make a difference in reducing the number of animals that are euthanized every week at county facilities. Donations in any amount are always needed for ongoing financial support. Because of our IRS 501(c)(3) designation, all of your donations are tax deductible.
If you prefer to donate by check, please use our donation form.
Please continue to help us save lives by being a Paws Place Supporter. We need your ongoing financial commitment. Thank you for caring, and for your continued support.
